UCR EE230: Mathematical Methods For Electrical Engineers (Fall 2022, Fall 2023)
This course covers advanced topics including, but is not limited to, Gaussian elimination, fundamental subspaces, LU and QR factorizations, function spaces, special matrices (Fourier, Pauli, Vandermonde), generalized norms, Gram-Schmidt orthonormalization, least squares, determinants, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, diagonalization, similar and congruence transformations, non-Hermitian matrices, Jordan canonical forms, calculus of matrices, Cayley-Hamilton theorem, singular value decomposition, minimization and optimization.
